How to use:
The tire pressure sensors of 2012 and later models can only be read using some designated diagnostic tools. Before the tire pressure monitoring system works properly, the body control module will record the ID information of each position in the tire pressure sensor; after replacing the tire or wheel speed sensor, please use the following method to read the tire pressure sensor.
The specific method is as follows:
Step 1 - Enter learning mode
Put the gear lever in the "P" position
Put the ignition switch in the "ON" position
Enter the tire pressure display interface through the digital instrument panel (DIC)
DIC displays "Press Set / Ctrl to re-learn"
Press the "Set / Ctrl" key
The turn signal is on for 3 seconds, the horn beeps twice, and the learning mode is entered
Step 2 - Read the tire pressure sensor information
Start from the left front wheel
Aim the J-46079 or diagnostic instrument EL-50448 antenna at the valve core position and close to the tire sidewall rim
Start the EL-50448 tire pressure gauge through the start switch
The horn beeps once, indicating that the tire pressure sensor information is successfully read
Step 3 - Read other tire pressure information in the same way
Follow the above steps to read the tire pressure of the right front wheel, right rear wheel, and left rear wheel
The turn signal is on for 3 seconds, and the horn will beep twice after learning is completed.
